‘Turntable is a glorious bringing together of people – such a range of ages with different reasons to be there.  Throughout the day the conversations I had made me think about: my first album,  what affect it would have on my life if my mum and dad didn’t have a music collection, MTV, the aesthetics of music, The Sound of Music, finding an inner politic through lyrics,  singing Paul Simon in my dads car using the seat belt as a microphone, the materiality of vinyl, the importance of touch, the science of art, my best friends favourite song, the voice as an instrument, connecting to strangers, love lifting us up where we belong.’
Rachel O’Neil, Turntable collaborator
